Description of the stock: In the Imperial Navy, tenders, escort and training ships, tankers, pilot and depot steamers, transport vehicles, fire and block ships, tugs, dinghies, surveying vehicles, workshop ships, icebreakers, sailing and steam yachts, military hospital ships, wounded and sea transport ships were designated as auxiliary, tug and special ships. Characterisation of the content: The main items handed down are logbooks and war diaries for both peacetime and wartime.
