The Eppingen Municipal Archives holds some documents from the estate of the Eppingen-born missionary Gustav Adolf Vielhauer (1880 - 1959), who was sent to Cameroon by the Basel Mission before the First World War and in the period up to the Second World War. These are mainly the manuscripts for the translation of the Bible into the Bali language.
