The map illustrates the proposed boundary between the Belgian mandated territory of Ruanda-Urundi (now Rwanda and Burundi) and German East Africa (now Tanzania). Annotated 'Carte annexée à la proposition concernant l'attribution de la mandate dans l'est africain allemand.' Drawn and printed at the War Office 1917. 'Copie 30 mai 1919.'.
