Preliminary remark: The existing inventory was destroyed when the old inventory E 71 - Ministry of Foreign Affairs was dissolved: The new portfolio is made up of the E 65 - Deutscher Bund (German Confederation). It includes the tradition of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs concerning the Württemberg legation in the Kingdom of Saxony (1807 - 1832, 1865 - 1893). The envoy in Dresden was accredited 1821 - 1880 and 1893 - 1933 at the same time in Berlin, 1882 - 1893 in Munich as Württemberg envoy. The counter tradition can be found in the collection E 70 c - Württ. Legation in Dresden. The structure of the collection is based on the classification developed for the Württemberg legation and consulate collection group. The present finding aid book was produced with the help of the MIDOSA program package of the Baden-Württemberg State Archive Administration.
