Introduction :<br />This is the estate of Adolf von Carlowitz (1858-1928), who after his school years in Grimma and military training in Berlin was initially active as a military educator for the Saxon princes until he was appointed Royal Saxon War Minister. However, there are also letters from other military personnel expressing their views on his removal from command or their desire for reuse. In addition, a collection of newspaper clippings with mention of Adolf, some of his speeches and speeches as well as individual documents such as testimonies and certificates have been preserved.
