Information that Jessens will soon travel to Uha and leave the station Kigoma in Giese's care. Presentation of Jessens small church: Two Christians and a catechumen to be baptized at Easter. Two other Christians plan to come to the Sunday service. Jessen cannot leave his wife and daughter alone and therefore cannot participate in evening events and church services. Report on the uncertain war situation. Report about an extraordinary student Giese teaches. He had lent this boy, whose employer is missionary Hübner, to Jessen and Jessen was also enthusiastic about the boy's perceptive faculties. Giese hopes to have added 'the picture' to this letter, which Bracker can take from Jessens postcards. Giese had sent the postcards of Jessen to his parents via the Portuguese Laurenzo Marques. They forwarded the postcards to Breklum.] Remark that this letter was of course not intended for publication.
